Field Sales Manager

United Dwelling is on a mission to build high-quality and affordable homes for all. This creates a new, reliable source of income for the homeowner and new housing opportunities for renters who otherwise were previously unable to afford to live in the area.

About the Role

The Field Sales Manager is responsible for educating, inspiring, and guiding prospective homeowners by understanding their needs, addressing questions and meeting a sales quota. Most of your time will be spent in the field meeting with homeowners. FSMs are professional, passionate, and confident communicators who are eager to meet sales goals, and help us deliver on our mission of creating high-quality, affordable homes for all.

Responsibilities

  • Be an expert on the United Dwelling mission and service offering.

  • Visit with prospective customers (qualified by the Sales Development team) in their home to educate and assist them in making the decision to work with United Dwelling.

  • Nurture prospective customers by following up and hand-holding them through the lease signing process.

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline.

  • Represent United Dwelling at local, community, and industry events

  • Help develop field sales playbook through documentation of processes.

  • Report, track, and manage sales activities and results using HubSpot

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas of signed leases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Demonstrated success in an outside sales role preferably at-home services

  • Self-motivated, initiative driven, and problem-solving mentality

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to multitask, wear multiple hats, and pitch in where needed

  • Comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM – HubSpot experience highly desirable

  • Strong work ethic, and eager to meet goals

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Exceptional organization skills and multi-tasking skills

  • Language: English (fluent required), Spanish (fluent a plus)

  • Personal vehicle for making at home sales visits
